Last week, our construction team continued work on Locust Lane and began preparatory work in the intersection of Locust Lane and Roslyn Road. As a reminder, this work will continue to be conducted overnight. Please note there will be no work on Monday September 7 in observance of Labor Day. The outreach team will continue to keep residents informed during work and give notice of upcoming activities, maintaining social distancing and eliminating any close contact.

*Over the next week, neighbors can expect to see:

  • Continued gas main installation on Locust Lane between Woodhollow Road and the Long Island Expressway.
  • On Monday August 31 trenching in the intersection of Locust Lane and Roslyn Road.
  • Overnight there will be changes in traffic patterns on Locust Lane with flaggers present to redirect traffic as necessary.
